Consórcio bacteriano combinado à adubação nitrogenada promove crescimento vegetal e beneficia a produtividade da cultura do milho

Abstract

O uso de microrganismos promotores de crescimento de plantas na agricultura é uma estratégia vantajosa em termos ambientais e econômicos, contribuindo para uma agricultura mais sustentável e rentável. Nesse contexto, investigamos o uso de diferentes bactérias promotoras de crescimento vegetal na cultura do milho associado a adubação nitrogenada. Os ensaios de campo foram realizados na safra 2020/21 em quatro locais do Brasil. Foram comparados os tratamentos controle e nitrogenado completo (100% N), com a aplicação de Azospirillum brasilense (Ab-V5 e Ab-V6), Pseudomonas fluorescens (CCT8122) e o consórcio dessas bactérias com menor fornecimento de nitrogênio (75% N). A produção de massa vegetal e de grãos foi beneficiada pelo uso dos microrganismos em todas as áreas, assim como, o teor de N nas folhas (em três áreas) e o N nos grãos (em duas áreas) aumentaram com uso dos inoculantes microbianos, sendo superiores ao controle. As aplicações de A. brasilense (Ab-V5 e Ab-V6), de P. fluorescens (CCT8122) e do consórcio de A. brasilense (Ab-V5 e Ab-V6) com P. fluorescens (CCT8122) associada a redução de 25% do N apresentaram produtividades de milho equivalentes às observadas com o tratamento nitrogenado completo.
